Taking Care of Business

Our primary focus is to properly take care of your dental health needs; however, it is also essential that we take care of the business aspects. The following information is provided to assist this part of our service relationship.

Dental office worker searches for patient files to accept payment for services.

The following payment options are available:

  • Insurance: The entire amount due is considered an obligation between our office and the patient, with insurance billing provided as a patient service. In the event that the insurance billing is not successful, payment for services rendered will be expected. If we can verify your insurance coverage, we will estimate the applicable coverage and bill your insurance company appropriately. The balance (co-payment) will be your responsibility and is expected at the time of service.
  • Cash or Check: If you do not have insurance coverage, payment in full is expected at the time of service. If full payment is made with cash or check on the day of service, you will receive a 5% discount. We also offer an additional 5% discount for seniors.
  • Debit Card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover: These are all acceptable forms of payment on the day of service, but no discount is given.
Acceptable payment types including debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover
  • Financing: We can assist you in securing financing for your larger treatment needs. This may be helpful in allowing you to receive needed treatment in a timely manner.

If you have special financial needs, please bring these to the attention of our front office staff.

Technology, cost of materials, labor, and other overhead items have influenced the costs of dental care. While we are impacted by these, we still make every attempt to provide dental solutions to you at an affordable cost.

There are also things you can do to reduce your dental service expenses:

Take care of your teeth. Good personal hygiene, proper diet, regular dental check-ups and cleaning will help prevent major expenses. If you have insurance, know the terms of your coverage, yearly limits, and deductibles. When you assign your benefits directly to our office, your insurance payment is more timely and efficient. If you do not have insurance, there is a 5% discount if you pay with cash or check at the time of service. Remaining current also avoids interest charges on an outstanding balance.
